    Default Wireless set up help!

I have my laptop, and I have a router, only I can't remember the security key or passcode. How do I obtain that?

    TIA

You could probably get by logging into the router with a wired connection. If that doesn't work try the reset button on the back of the router. Hold it down for about fifteen seconds and that will reset it. You will have to reconfigure the wireless settings.

dont know about yours, but on mine it has the serial number and the key number on the back/or other side of the router and I typed in those in when it asks for the password and security code to get connected ... a lot of routers arent like that though....

    good luck to ya.

If you go to the manufacturer's web site, they will tell you what the default username and password is after you reset it.

I've spent a good amount of time looking for it. I think Vonage killed the router. I am just going to buy a new one.
