No, not even close. Most Yankee fans are front-runners who don't understand why they can't just buy the best players every year. Most Cardinal fans expect the team to play above .500 and have good pitching with sound fundamentals but they aren't like Yankee fans. Cardinal fans would stage protests if they had to play most of the time with a DH.
How many cardinals fans so you live amongst?

By the time the Yanks and Tigers play again...the NL will have played 2 as well.

Just to clarify, I work among many fair weather Cardinals fans, as well as plenty of Cubs fans.

Only because I hate the Giants, I hope you're right. But once that happens, I will immediately hope the Tigers kill them in the WS

Panda-monium! SF is in a zone the past three games.

Incidentally, the Giants have had a hit from a pitcher in their last four games. F the DH!

Twisted Fister and Bumgarter tossing goose eggs tonight. Fielder was nipped at the plate early and that's the only chance anyone has had to score.

Q: Is Prince Fielder the heaviest player in World Series history?

Except that, according to Baseball-Reference.com, Brown never appeared in a World Series game although he might have been on some World Series rosters with the Yankees and Giants. B-R lists Jumbo at 255 lbs. and Prince at 275 lbs but these are often from media guides early in their careers and doesn't reflect their true weight.

I wonder how much Willie Stargell weighed toward the end of his career. He retired in '82 and played in the WS in '79. Nothing to back it up but he had to wiegh more than his listed weight of 225. He looked like a taller version of Prince by then.
