After all the time wanting to get MW3, and when he finally got it, my son decided that Skyrim is more to his liking.

My kids say XBox is the best gaming system.

I am clearly in the minority thinking 360's controller is more comfortable and durable than the PS3.

No, you're not. I agree with you, but it's all personal preference. It's bulkier for sure, but I find it more comfortable for use.

Yeah...I picked up a 360 controller at my friend's house one day, and was literally like "ewww, wtf?" LOL.

No hate for the 360 though, I'm just a PS3 guy.

I know XBOX Live has more content and features, but I'm talking about the actual gameplay I guess. For instance my favorite online game is Marvel Vs Capcom 3 right now. How is XBox Live superior to PSN in that regard?

One thing the PS3 is superior to the 360. Way less 12 year old's yelling things that would make a sailor blush.

4.) Controllers. I guess this is a personal preference thing, but I'd never heard anyone say they prefer the XBox controller until Chaz in this thread. Personally, I think this is where PS3 has a clear leg up on XBox. PS3's has a sleeker design, which has even been copied a bit by XBox.

So, for your purposes Nut, I'd probably just get the PS3 because then you'll be getting a DVD player. Most of the advantages of the XBox are only going to be realized by the hardcore gamers.

You going to get the Show 12? I've been mulling it over since I picked up a copy of 11. I'm still working on my plate discipline using analog hitting. It's nice that you can enable more control as you get accustomed to the game.

For me, the PC kills any platform when it comes to shooters. But I'm just old school, and Shazam is a paid mole for Microsoft.

I like it better now that im used to it. I still throw grenades almost every time im in a hurry to kneal down. I bump the button inadvertantley.

I disagree. The PSN was much, much, much worse. Not only was it unreliable, the chat / party system didnt allow you to mute players by default. So, every room had 30 kids saying the n word over and over...

I think nut should go with the 360, and get MW3.

That way, I'd be able to increase my levels easier.

I was meerly being contrary to Shazam. I have yet to play my PS3 online, so I don't know what it is like for certain.

I see you online every now and again, if your down with games here and there I can invite you. Im not big into my Kill death ratio, I like to win. So You wont be the lone guy on "B".

My fault. IMO though PS3 could be so much better, and its a flaming turd. It costed me close to $1000 to switch over to Xbox, Im happy I did,

Yeah - we've been playing other games a lot lately. Mainly my kids are playing Skyrim. Pretty fun game. I was also playing Dead Island a lot until I beat it. I might play it again though, as I missed a TON of stuff.

How does the family like Sky rim? Ive thought about getting it for my wife/daughters to play on the PS3... Is it something multiple players could do?
