    MIA - Kala
    The Beatles - Revolver

The Strokes - Is This It?
The Velvet Underground - The Velvet Underground

    Animal Collective - Strawberry Jam
    Beastie Boys - Pauls Boutique
Sonic Youth - EVOL; Murray Street
    Prince - Dirty Mind

    Enjoying the lists.
I'm revising my list to reflect my current tastes:

    Titus Andronicus - The Monitor
The Velvet Underground - The Velvet Underground & Nico
Pavement - Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain
Modest Mouse - The Lonesome Crowded West

About two months ago I listened to Lonesome Crowded West for the first time. That is an amazingly under appreciated piece of work. It gets much play in the Softskull household.

No doubt. Their first three albums are all excellent. If you haven't checked out their album Building Nothing Out of Something, you should do so. It's a collection of unused tracks pre-2000 and it's on par with LCW, if you ask me.

Can't believe that Definitely Maybe is 20 years old now... I hope they can get their shit together and do a proper 20 year anniversary tour for Morning Glory in 2015.

I know, i first saw them in Glasgow on the Be Here Now Tour (an album which i actually really liked), seen them loads since then - they really were the soundtrack of my teenage years which means i probably rate them as better than they actually were simply because they so significant to my social life at the time.

Fingers crossed they do a reunion tour - it is actually my aim to go to Coachella - so if they could play that, i could kill several birds with one stone

    1) Holiday to keep the wife happy
    2) Go to Coachella
    3) See Oasis re-union tour

    Win Win!

Yeah, Be Here Now gets a lot of crap for being an overproduced, drug-fueled album but that is precisely the reason I like it as well. I was able to see Oasis three times in the states, the best being a show at Red Rocks when Jet opened for them. We were about 30 rows up from the stage and surrounded by people from the UK and other parts of Europe which made it really unique and fun. Parts of that show were on their Lord Don't Slow Me Down DVD that came out a few years back:

I think i saw about 3 shows at Red Rocks when i was still in Colorado. Saw Stryper, Loudness, and TNT in 87', Great White, Tesla, and Kix in 88', and the Clash of the Titans tour (Anthrax, Slayer, Megadeth, and Alice n Chains) in 90'. Such a great venue to see bands.

I've gone there to see bands I don't really care for just for the venue. Nothing like it, especially when a thunderstorm rolls in the distance. Very surreal scene that I have seen there more than once.

I caught the Cult and Metallica there (And Justice for All tour) Definitely my favorite venue.
