Default Improvised meals that turn out pretty good

For the not so fancy cooks on the board...

I bought some of those thin, boneless pork chops at Wal-Mart this morning, intending to apply a dry rub or a marinade and throw it on the foreman. Well, never got around to applying the dry rub or the marinade and it was near dinner time. So...

Diced up the pork chops in thin strips like you might see at an Asian restaurant. Sautéed them in olive oil and sprinkled garlic powder, pepper and onion powder on it.

Then sautéed/steamed some red potatoes in olive oil, with the same seasonings.

Side salad. Took about half hour prep and cook. Not bad.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.
