Wait, so you won't watcth Breaking Bad because it's too dark but you like Battlestar Galactica? Huh? BSG might be one of the darkest shows that has ever existed.

If you watch breaking bad, watch the very first episode and then watch last nights episode after...what an unbelievable tranformation! Last night's episode has to be the most powerful tv show episode I have ever seen, it was incredible. There were some parts that were actually hard to watch.

I don't know how anyone can look at this show and say something so stupid as "it's about a meth dealer". This world is getting dumber by the minute

I can't believe nobody is talking about last nights breaking bad.

I am watching it right now weaz. Some of us have to wait a day to be able to watch it.

I've never seen a second of Breaking Bad, but I am curious as to how you won't watch it because the subject matter is too dark, but you love BSG. I don't think I have ever seen a darker show than BSG.

It's freaking magical fairy tale science fiction. Meth and cancer and and brutal crime in the drug culture is a real and terrible thing I know people that have died of cancer and that have died from drug addiction. But I am still victim free on the Ceylon front.

BSG deals with those themes too though. Brutal crime (nuclear holocaust, the rape and torture of the human model cylons), addiction (Tigh's alcoholism), and cancer (Roslin). Yeah it has the mythical sci-fi theme that makes it a little less realistic than a breaking bad, but it still has those same dark themes.

Like I said, I have never seen BB (it's on my list to eventually) but it seems like you are really judging a book by it's cover.

question though, do you watch any shows where people die of natural causes or drug addictions or do you abstain from that material entirely? If you are watching a show and somebody suddenly dies in the show from one of these problems, do you write an angry letter to the producers? You don't have to answer, I'm just bustin your balls.

I wrote an angry letter to the producers of 24 asking why a show that was supposed to document every hour of a day in Jack Bauer's life never showed him sleep or go to the bathroom. or even pick his nose.

I've never seen that show, I had no idea that it was supposed to document an entire day. Did he at least have to go to the bathroom?
