Cutler didn't want here because McDaniels made him not want to be here.

But please don't fling around "Orton's a winning QB" bullshit...it means nothing when Rex Grossman has a similar record to his.

What does it matter he was gone soon anyway he wanted out after mikey left after bates let, after he figured out the 7 Mill he made last years was going toe be 1.035 this year..

    Follow the money folks..

Give up the Grossman act no one is buying it,it is not even cute any more.. .. when he got beat out by Orton to start the 2008 season that made Grossman exp enable why they did not resign him and he is a FA..

If your a Cutler apologist citing defense, go ahead and throw in the fact that Grossman played mainly when Chicago was a top 5 defense and Orton played when Chicago was a top 5 defense AND the 21st ranked defense, equally split.

:shrugs: The goal of football is to win games...Cutler didn't do that. Load the excuses. He didn't win in high school, he didn't win in college and he didn't win with the Broncos....pattern or is there maybe a little more to it?

Well just for the record, he did win in HS, played saftey and QB, won the championship.

Yep, cuz he's the only guy on the team. He lost them all by himself.

    Excuse 1.

Nope, he didn't lose them on his own. He also had a top rated offensive line, fantastic WR corp, great TE set. More than John Elway had during his years. Just saying.

They lost as a team and the losses weren't his fault, but he isn't the guy to take a team on his shoulders and get a win.

Well then since you want a winner...why not get Rex Grossman? He's won two more games than Orton in his career and lost the same amount of games. He also has a rocket arm

Elway had some resemblence of a defense.
It's hard for a QB to make up for half the team.

BTW, it's not an excuse, it's a fact.

Don't you hate it when they call it an "excuse" It's not an excuse that in Cutler's two full seasons as a starter, his defense gave up 400+ points each year AND he didn't have a 1,000 yard rusher.

An excuse is "Cutler threw all those interceptions because his finger hurt after the New England game"....
