    Default Korean Stone Bowl

Has anyone ever had traditional Korean Stone Bowl meals? A place just opened up this week in town and I am amazed! Never had anything like it. Very cool. I've only had Korean food one other time, not exactly a common thing, but it was amazing. Blew my first experience out of the water.

Here's a pic of the stone bowl I got to give you an idea of what it's like If you've never had one. (I know I'm a loser for taking a pic... )

Served hot, and you add the spicy sauce to your liking. Next you mix it up and the rice gets slightly crispy. The food stayed about the same temp the entire meal because of the bowl. Also came with 8 small traditional sides like Kimchi!

The bowls we got had zucchini, mushrooms, bean sprouts, sauteed spinach, and a bit of lettuce. (I'm missing one thing that was more traditional... had a weird name) The meat was a choice of Shimp (pictured) steak, or chicken. There is rice on the bottom and a raw or fried egg on the top (your choice). The bowl is hot enough to slightly cook the egg if you get it raw. Also, they arrange everything in the bowl according to color. (tough to see in my pic, but you can see it if you google stone bowl)

They serve it with a Korean chili sauce that you can kick it up with. You put the sauce in and mix well.

Also, in Korea they call the stone bowl meals Bibimbap if you want to read more on it.

    I love new food experiences.

    I love them!!

and the hot pots (not the hot bowl which is also called hot pot)

I love getting an egg and cracking it open and mixing it up and letting the egg cook from the bowl.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

Korean food is the best ethnic food.

The tiny appetizers are always the best.

If you've never had Korean BBQ, treat yourself.

So I made the same dish that was posted in the OP. I just made the Spinach, Cucumbers, Carrots/Peppers, and the spicy sauce. I included mushrooms in with the rice (the mushrooms were dried, so I let them rehydrate in the rice cooker with the rice).
