Welbeck was hot garbage today. Flamini poorly gave up possession that resulted in an easy Spurs goal. That felt like a loss today. Embarrassing.

Likewise, Lamela gave up possession that resulted in an easy Arsenal goal (and a hilarious whiff by Welbeck). Fair result for both teams.

Spurs were damn lucky to get out of Emirates with a point. They're not a good team at all. Arsenal dominated possession 70-30 and effing Spurs had 6 yellows. 15 corners and no goals. Arsenal was awful.

I was actually pissed. I even commented on an Arsenal Fagbook post, something I never do.

This season isn't going to be pretty. Chelsea is going to destroy them.

I know that this isn't the thread for it. But watching La Liga and I am amazed how much Ronaldo, Neyer, Bale and Messi are fire. Right now either Real Madrid or Barcelona would be crushing even the top EPL teams. The only top clubs I haven't seen are BVD, Bayern and PSG, but I wonder how they would fair in EPL.
"We saw it…. the hussars let loose their horses. God, what power! They ran through the smoke and the sound was like that of a thousand blacksmiths beating with a thousand hammers

They rush on to the Swedes! They crash into the Swedish riters…. Overwhelm them! They crash into the second regiment - Overwhelmed! Resistance collapses, dissolves, they move forward as easily as if they were parading on a grand boulevard

They might crush the biggest EPL teams, but the EPL also has greater parity with big teams losing to smaller ones. That's why the EPL kicks La Liga's ass. Competition is less threatening than in the Premier League.

EPL is also much tougher and more physical than La Liga when it comes to style of play IMO. La Liga is more finesse.

So Stoke hasn't scored at home and Newcastle hasn't scored on the road.

Should be a stellar match up today.

Watching part of the Barcelona match on Saturday one of the talking heads said that the Spanigh media that follow Barca said Suarez was looking too heavy, that he still has the body of an English league footballer.
