Thread: Doom, Bailey, Miller Named to Pro Bowl; Tebow Named Alternate

Default Doom, Bailey, Miller Named to Pro Bowl; Tebow Named Alternate

Champ and Von are starters, Elvis is a backup DE.

Tebow is a 2nd Alternate behind the immortal Andy Dalton.

For Tebow to get in, two QBs will have to opt out of the Pro Bowl (Brady, Roethlisberger, Rivers, Dalton). One of those guys will likely be playing in the Super Bowl, which would mean one more would need to sit out due to injury for Tebow to get in.

Hopefully, none of our players will be eligible to play in the Pro Bowl because we will have a game to play in February.

(On a side note, Brandon Marshall got in as the #4 WR.)

I looked through ahead of time and didn't see it, and was surprised that it wasn't up...my bad for missing it.

I agree that if Champ didn't have the rep he does that he probably wouldn't have gotten in based soley on this year's merits alone...

However, I think the least deserving of the 3 is Von...Yeah he's got the sack numbers, but considering he's a LB, he's been a downright liability in the run game this year.

Rivers made it on reputation. And, possibly because the competition wasn't great this season. Personally I wouldve chosen tebow over him, but I'm biased.

I saw that Seattle's Earl Thomas made the ProBowl this year. They used our Alphonso Smith first rounder on him.

Well at least we got that record breaking TE Gronkowski out of the deal....
    What's that??
    We got the crappy one?

Um, what? Have you actually watched Von Miller this year? Before he broke his hand he did not miss a SINGLE tackle all season. I've seen various people/sites rate him as one of the top or THE top OLB in the NFL this season. He was by far our most deserving Pro Bowler. I'm not sure how you could watch him play and think otherwise. I think you are too caught up in the last 2 games when he was playing with a club on his hand.
