Tarantino and Scorsese's movies are about as good as you'll find nowadays.
Looks great. I love war movies. Good ones anyways.
"We Were Soldiers" was awsome. Last really good war movie i've seen.
"Flags of Our Fathers" was a huge dissappointment.
A little curious to see Spike Lee's "The Miracle at St. Anna".
I can not wait for that movie. Quentin Tarantino war movie. Where the hell do I sign up.
Looks good, but it feels like an update of the dirty dozen. One of the greatest movies ever.
"We saw it…. the hussars let loose their horses. God, what power! They ran through the smoke and the sound was like that of a thousand blacksmiths beating with a thousand hammers
They rush on to the Swedes! They crash into the Swedish riters…. Overwhelm them! They crash into the second regiment - Overwhelmed! Resistance collapses, dissolves, they move forward as easily as if they were parading on a grand boulevard
I saw this about two weeks ago on youtube.com. This movie looks flat out badass.

I love just about every Tarantino movie. This one may be too over the top though. Don't know if it is going to go over too well in this economy or world. Got my doubts.
Good point. I thought Grindhouse was going to do great with all the buzz around it. I guess not everyone has the time to sit through a 3 hour double feature. Actually I liked Rodriguez's PLANET TERROR a little more than his DEATH PROOF in that movie. Death Proof had the much better second act, though. Either way, the only movie I don't own of his is Jackie Brown. I liked it, but it feels like someone trying to make a Tarantino movie as opposed to him actually making one.
The script for this one has been floating around since 2003 on the internet. All the versions I've read get better and better, so I'm pumped about this.
