FWIW, the original story was from National Football Post and it's a great article.

It looks to me like they don't see him fitting into a 3-4 very well. Which makes sense to me, not sure if I agree with it, but it makes sense.

I think Robert Ayers will be a very good 3/4 DE as well. (6' 3", 270)

    Orakpo is Mayok's #2 3-4 OLB...

Jarron Gilbert is a penetrating and attacking defensive tackle...he has the size and I heard being mentioned for a 3-4 defensive end before...but I dunno if that's where his upside is...I'm going to have to research the 3-4 defense...things that I thought before about obviously aren't accurate.

I thought Brown and Orakpo were the top two 3-4 OLBs in the class.

It's interesting that Cushing isn't ranked in the top five OLBs.

I think guys like Cushing and Curry are at the top of the OLBs in a 4-3. They arent necessarily pass rushers like a 3-4 OLB

I'm less and less enamored of these rankings, although I still like the idea. Does anyone on this site have their own rankings to post?

I'd rank them as #2 and 3 right behind Curry, who rates as my #1 LB at every LB position in both the 3-4 and 4-3. I think he's that good, and why he'll be gone in the top 5 somewhere.

I know Cushing and Maualuga were doing pass rushing drill so it stands to reason that Matthews probably did as well.
