It was a terribly officiated game. One could tell Vegas owned this game. Very one sided.

I have noticeed that teams who play the Squealers can not play the same "rough" football........if they do they get called for roughing poor little helpless Ben........and all the while Pittsburgh's lb's are abusing KW
Toward the end of the game, I couldn't help to begin sort of hoping the
tweetie birds would win, only because of Warner. He has always been a class
act, and another ring might have helped his cause for the HOF.
But, much as I dislike the Steelers (but not as much as the birds), I do admire
their brand of football, and I hope against hope that the Broncos return to it.
That is the way the Broncos once played it: smash-mouth, take no prisoners,
blood-ankle-deep football. If I want to watch civility and manners, I will watch
a golf or bowling tournament. This is football.
So, in the end, I am glad the Steelers won it. They are what football is all about.

But Top have you noticed if other teams (and I will exclude Baltimore) get penalized for playing the Steeler "brand" of football.
That roughing the passer call was ridiculous but the refs were calling everything. However, after Santonio caught the game winning TD he used the ball as a prop (salt shaker). That should have been a 15 yard penalty on the kickoff and could have completely changed the ending of the game.
Refs never fail to call excessive celebration. I wonder why they missed that one. At least be consistent.
I don't know who he was beating on but he did take several punches and should have been tossed.
Also, I guess Santonio was trying to imitate Lebron James with the chalk before the game. I still have no clue was he wasn't flagged for using a prop. Earlier this year Patriots TE Ben Watson tucked a ball under his jersey as a salute to his pregnant wife. He received a 15 yard penalty and a big fine.
I don't understand why rules should change in the Super Bowl.
However, I thought it was a great game.
The guy Harrison was hitting was the Safety Francisco I think is his name.
