    Default Vontaze Burfict

He may be one of the most controversial picks in the 2012 draft. Mentally, he's as immature as they come. Physically, he's a beast. He can blitz better than any MLB in the country, is good in coverage, and hits like a freight train. Prior to the all star games and combine, he's projected to go anywhere from middle first round to early 2nd.

I love watching this kid play, and Denver may be just the place for him. Champ, Doom, Von, and Dawkins (if he comes back next season) might be able to get to this kid early in camp and work on his mindset. He skillset is perfect for the Dennis Allen scheme. He's a nasty blitzer, nasty hitter, and can play all 4 downs. He's instinctive and takes the right angles more often than not. He will take a wrong angle overpursuing from time to time, but nowhere near as often as Joe Mays. If he's there when we pick at around 20, he may be too talented for EFX to pass up. Elway has talked about bringing the Orange Crush back since he took the job. This kid is big and mean. He doesn't take plays off, and he's just plain nasty. A lot of folks around here don't like him, but I'd love to see him wearing the orange next season.

If the Broncos can bring him in and work on the mental aspect of his game, we have a bigger, stronger, meaner version of Al Wilson. If they can't fix the mental mistakes, we still have the most talented MLB on the roster since Al Wilson.
