I agree, to an extent.
It doesn't make a difference to me, at all...but I could see it bothering some.
I think as far as appropriateness goes...if it's something you would see in a commercial, then it should be appropriate for here.
That would include negative sigs/avys as well as positive.
Anything that's worse than what you'd see on TV probably doesn't belong on here anyway...
Admin on the "other" site, still your friendly Broncos fan
I prefer to have them turned off because, to me, most of them make the board members look childish. I was part of one board that had no sigs or avys and it looked far more professional and serious than the typical boards with the usual collection of cartoons, UFC wrestlers, half-naked women and the like.
Just my 2 cents.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.
As long as the avy or sig isn't a violation of the rules, such as being racist or vulgar, then they should be permitted.
My most recent avy that I was instructed to take down was a Che/Obama avy that stated "Same Old Socialism." Politically incorrect to some? Yes, but not a violation of the rules.

Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act. - Dietrich Bonhoeffer
LOL I'm sure you'll get notived, whatever that is.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.
Wrong.
Offensive and inciting.
Your politics, especially, now that its brought up need to go.
I have to deal with your ideals, enough when I go in to the political threads, I don't want to deal with it when I'm in the Broncos forum.
And furthermore, it brings nothing, absolutely nothing, to a football forum.
If you want to make a statement, go to a politics site. Here, it just makes you look bad, and it makes many of us not take you seriously.

Mo, are you unable to ignore posters or disable sigs and avatards?
