Default Name all the systems you've owned..

Shazam! gave me an idea with his Sega thread when he rattled off the systems he owned. Heres mine in chronological order:

    Atari 2600
    Intellivision
    NES
Neo-Geo (found at garage sale for $20 at the time when it retailed $400+!)
    Super Nintendo
    Gameboy Color
    Playstation
    Gameboy Advance
    Playstation 2
    Gameboy DS
    PSP
    Xbox360

Honorable Mention: Phillips CDi. Anyone remember this? It was one of the first CD drive games and had weird games like Zelda with FMV.

EDIT: Also had Nintendo Gamecube. Yes I am a fanboy, but I'll never get a Wii. That thing is too gimicky.

    No N64?

BTW, I never knew a giant milk shake could play video games.

No N64. My roommate had one so I played it. I did omit Gamecube though, I still have that.

My little yellow hands do have a hard time with controllers.

We should also say which was our favorite. Mine has to be the SNES. Thank god for emulators! I have all those games on my laptop now. Actraiser FTW!

I have to say I was most excited when buying my N64, PS2, and Dreamcast. Too bad Dreamcast was a bust.

My favorite has to be my PS3...Some of the games have blown me away..I wish we had this shit growing up.

All time classic has to be NES...Mario bros games are still fun and challenging.

    Atari 2600
    Collecovision
    Sega Master System
    Atari 7800
    Turbografx-16
    Game Boy
    Sega Genesis
    Playstation
    Dreamcast
PS2 (Still have an original first run/release)
Game Boy Advance (for all of 10 days)
    XBox
Gamecube (bought for only Metroid and MGS-TS, everything else was on XBox/PS2 too)
Atari Flashback (40+ Classic Atari games in a throwback console for $20)
    XBox 360

I was the only diehard gamer that didn't have a NES. I preferred Sega's MS which I felt had better graphics and games, not the constant shovelware that Nintendo is guilty of STILL to this day.

    SMS had some awesome games-
    Double Dragon
    Alien Syndrome
    Shinobi
    Kenseiden
    Thunder Blade
    Space Harrier
    Phantasy Star
    Spellcaster
    Rambo (Akari Warriors clone)
    Rocky
    Alex Kidd in Monster Land
Alex Kidd & the Dragon's Curse
A good RPG that I forgot it's name...

There were many other great games but these are right off the top of my head.

I traded my PS1 for an old NES w/18 games after I got my PS2. The enjoyment only lasted for about 30 mins. I was never a NES fan.

I have a N64 here that was my Gf's and she uses it to play some Zelda game. I watched her play it and I can't figure how anyone would rather play that game than FFVII or VIII back in the day.

    Oh man...

First, an Amiga! So long ago... I couldn't have been older than seven but I still remember Corridor 7, Prince of Persia, Dragon's Lair and Commander Keen.

Got a SNES around the same time. Had that on our move to Texas. My favorite games were Total Carnage and some hockey game (my defining moment being "passing" the puck out from my goalie, watching it slowly cross the rink as the AI players bugged and just skated around, and bizarrely go through the opposing goalie's five hole ) but a fire in our house destroyed the SNES making my next system be, courtesy of insurance,

a NINTENDO SIXTY FOURRRRRRRRRR. I only had like five games, maybe six, but I played the shit out of those I had. Diddy Kong Racing and Goldeneye got most of my attention.

I picked up a Playstation on the cheap as the PS2 was already out. Played Smackdown and Metal Gear Solid on it. Not much else besides Army Men, I think.

Then got a Playstation 2 for Xmas during the GTA3 buzz creating one of the most hysterical road trips ever. I got the PS2 and GTA3 and we left for Colorado the same day. But we hooked up a T.V. onto the middle console and I played from there. Two problems: one, my brother got a fishing game so he had to play every once in awhile and that was HORRRRRIBLE. Fishing games suck, regardless, but the fact is GTA3 was the most godly game ever when it came out and not playing it while you watched a fishing game was physically painful. Second, GTA3 was violent as hell for its time as well and my brother made special note to call out all the horrible crap that was happening so I had to do like the taxi and police missions to prove the game wasn't "that" violent. Another funny thing is me and my buddy trying as all hell to figure out how to fly the "Dodo". We spent hours on that and once we got it... it was bliss... I also put car bombs in all my friend's garaged cars when he was sleeping once. That was hilarious.

Bought myself an Xbox at some point. I'm possibly the only Xbox owner to not buy either of the Halo's. My friend down the street had them both, though, so I just played there (we had a lot of huge LAN parties). I played Thief Deadly Shadows and ESPN 2k5 a lot, but I think the best game on the entire system was Splinter Cell Chaos Theory.

Nintendo Wii, courtesy of my parents. Super Mario Galaxies and... that's about it. I hook it up for my nephew now so he can play Wii Sports and some fishing game... grrr... It's fun to watch him get better at the controls, though.

Xbox 360 for Xmas awhile back. I think the games I've played most are Dead Rising, GTA IV, Earth Defence Force 2017, and... Splinter Cell Chaos Theory

I also have had a series of PCs dating somewhere around the "SNES era". I was playing the war games West Front and Civil War Generals in the 3rd grade Most of my early games were PC games, in fact. I still remember watching my cousin play Ultima and I have some stupidly obscure PC games in my library... Including some "shareware" if any of you happen to remember those days. I remember Starcraft was big with us nerds in middle school and I had the name "Ghengis Khan" as my avatar (I was big into history) and catching a lot of flak because everyone thought it was some Pokemon.
