    Default Patrick Chung infrmation/pic page

Many feel that Chung may be the best Safety in this draft and may slip to us in round 2. I don't think he'll quite make it that far, but he'll garner serious consideration if he does. Again, I prsonally think Barrett and Wes deservea shot at Safety in 2009. JMHO

I really like Chung. I think he would be very good value if he is available in the 2nd round. I only saw a couple of Oregon games this year, but he always seemed to be around the ball and he flies around like a missile. He also hits harder than I expected him to as he doesn't really look that big.

In the Chung camp as well. 2nd round would be a no brainer IMO, but I think the Broncos might go front seven early so we will see.

If we look to trade down, I would like us to take a good look at chung if we are later in the first. IMO he is better overall than Moore.

i would be thrilled with chung. How does he compare to kenny phillips of last year?
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

ive been watching chung at the senior bowl practices and he is doing very well. he's getting alot of praise from his coaches, more so than moore.

also david bruton from notre dame is doing well. he should be on our radar in the 4th. a great value!

he was getting some love on wednesday at the senior bowl practice. They had him covering WR's like a corner and he did a great job.

One of my favorite plays involving Chung of all time:

He’s the guy laying out the offensive linemen.

I’d be perfectly happy to add Chung in the second. I agree with SA27 that I think we could get by with Barrett, Woodyard and Fox for now, see how Wes does in adapting to safety and how Barrett does as a full-time starter before we go dropping a high pick on one…but if the Broncos added Chung I’d be all smiles, even though it means there’s really no place for Woodyard to play then.
