Default Can You Find Wisconsin On A Map? Can ESPN?

I can't wait to see Sneak's responce to this

It's been a great year for the state of Wisconsin. The Brewers went deep into the playoffs behind the MVP bat of Ryan Braun. The Packers haven't lost since 2010. And yet the Badger State can't get any respect.

As the all-seeing CNBC sports business reporter Darren Rovell shows in one of his tweets, ESPN's SportsCenter did a report on Braun and Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers in front of an artist's rendering of ... Minnesota.

LOL. One of the best sports broadcasting bloopers of all-time was an NFL game between the Raiders and Dolphins in Oakland after a heavy rain. The Coliseum turf did not drain well and the players were clearly hydroplaning as they fell to the ground. After Paul Warfield caught a pass and was jumped on by a Raider defender who rode Warfield as he skidded face-first for a good ten yards as water sprayed up around them, NBC broadcaster Curt Gowdy ad-libbed: "He (Warfield) may need artificial insemination after that play." He meant to say "artificial respiration" but in the days before DVRs and screen caps, few people caught it.

Another all-time favorite involved blooper-fest Frank Gifford. I actually have this one on tape. This was a Monday Night telecast from 1973 between the Steelers and Dolphins at Miami. Back in those days, the singing of the National Anthem was part of the telecast and the Dolphins brought out a shapely blonde singer to the sidelines who smiled broadly at the camera as Gifford got on the stadium's PA to introduce her:

"And now, to sing our National Anthem, please welcome international country-western recording star, Miss Loretta Lynn."

The singer looked mortified for a few seconds and then put her smiley face back on and did her performance like a professional. She gave that shocked look because she was international country-western recording star Lynn Anderson.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

On sportscenter in the 80s a female anchor said that Ozzie Newsome was out for this sunday's game with a bulging di ck in his back.

Pat Summerall often sounded drunk in later years. During one game between the Cowboys and Cardinals, Summerall called one play:

    "Intercepted!....by Anus Williams".

That player was actually All-Pro corner Aeneas Williams.
