Just saw a commercial for it and it looks incredible. I'll throw it on the blockbuster queue. By the time i finish with MW3 and Crackdown 2 (yeah, I'm behind, it's still sitting on the TV unopened) it'll be available!

This thread has inspired to me to get a gaming system again. I sold my 360 over a year ago because I started up a masters degree and was busy with my 1 year old constantly.

Now my wife works Friday through Monday and I have lots of free time in the early evenings. Skyrim is definitely on the top of my list.

Now the only question is, Xbox 360 or PS3? I'm leaning towards the PS3 because I was kind of pissed that I had to replace 3 Xbox's, but I haven't heard too much about the brick rate of the new slim PS3's. I need to upgrade my man cave bluray player anyway, might as well be able to play games on it I suppose. I'm not loyal to Sony or Microsoft, I just want something that will last past its warranty. My SNES still works great for gods sake!

So this is a game similiar to Elder Scrolls?

I bought Elder Scrolls like 1.5 years ago and never even opened it.

Shake, I bought PS3 because of the bluray....how can you go wrong with a free bluray player?

Get it on computer. If your graphics card is sick Skyrim will look the best, top-end on the PC.

I think I bought Oblivion (I didn't know there was one before it).

Wish I had time to actually play once in a while.

I think I'm going to after the holidays. I'm definitely more of a casual player, though I love my fighting games. Marvel Vs Capcom 3 plus a good joystick are high on my list too. First games I get will be that, Skyrim, and God of War 3 which I've been dying to play.

Question about Skryim though... does it take a long time to load when you enter a door like Oblivion did? Or when you do the "wait" function? I hated getting to a shop and having to wait 3 minutes for the time to pass in wait mode or whatever that was.

You would be the excuse to get MvC3. I love fighting games. I have Tekken 6 and MK9?
