    Default Adopt a Bronco?

I saw that in the CP. It said something about the "annual adoption" and to see the forum for information. I looked and used the search engine, but couldn't find anything about it.

Could someone enlighten me? What is it, why do it and what are the rules/procedures?

    Thanks.

We gave up doing an official adoption process, like they do on Broncos Country, for a variety of reasons. In the end, the biggest one was people wanted to be able to "adopt" and put in their profile the players they wanted, rather than being limited by a first come, first picked type thing.

I didn't even realize that note was still in the User CP.

There used to be an official adoption, where no more than 3 posters could adopt a player. This was our way of spreading the love to the entire team. This was the player we specifically rooted for each week. Due to lack of interest, the tradition was retired in 2009. If you want to fill in that blank, you are more than welcome to put whoever you want in there.

you can have 'em all-- nobody else wants the bums any more. . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
