Default Tebow gets no promises beyond this week

To the extent that anyone thinks Tim Tebow definitely will be the quarterback of the Broncos for the rest of the season or, at a minimum, until further notice, think again. Ed Werder of ESPN reports that no promises of any kind have been made to Tebow beyond this week.

It sounds like a ploy to motivate Tebow, who seems to thrive when he perceives that he’s being doubted. The fans have been clamoring for Tebow for weeks, and there would be a full-blown revolt if he gets benched after only one start.

Only if Quinn is next in line. It would make absolutely no sense whatsoever, from an organizational, or business standpoint, to go back to Kyle Orton like the announcer is insinuating.

That would be comparable to the organization saying, "we know we don't have our QB on he roster, but at least with Kyle Orton we can finish with 3 wins instead of 1 or 2."

    Whoopty-fn-do.

Maybe Fox just had enough of the fans crying and that's why he finally caved in an put in Tebow.

If we're going to lose, then might as well lose with some excitement.

But yeah, if Tebow continues to play like this he will be gone quicker than a fat kid eating a twinkie.

Kyle Orton shaved though. He's an entirely new quarterback.

Because the move to the worthless one was warranted? When you have to CHANGE you Playbook for ONE PLAYER you have a problem.

The playcalling in the first 3 quarters did Tebow no favors. That being said, he needs to execute all 4 quarters, not just the fourth.

And if Timmy gets us sniffing 500 this year, then I think our priority needs to be someone better to protect his blind side.

Reminds me of another Denver QB who seemed to ignore the first 3 quarters... What was that guys name again?

What he had 161yds and 2 TD's and lead them to a win even though Fox/McCoy feed him a steady diet of BS plays until the final 2 minutes of the game which is also BS.

Coaching and play calling is why this O looked so bad through most of the game.

I still want Tebow over Orton and I want Fox and McCoy fired. Fox because he wanted to keep McCoy so fire him for being stupid and for starting Orton and for being a loser.
