See if it will let you delete the second post you made in that thread. The way it is currently setup, a user should be able to delete his/her post, but not thread.

This can be changed, but I want to confirm that works.

Well, that is what I did to begin, but I'll see again . . .

Ok, here is the way it is setup. First, a user cannot delete a thread, even if they created it, so you can't delete the first post in a thread (we can discuss later if this setting should remain).

However, any other post you can delete. After you hit edit, it brings up the quick edit box, and there is a save, advanced and delete button. If you click delete, then it expands the 'reason' box where you can give a reason, and confirm the delete.

Ah, I see. So can you extend the power to Mods, while keeping it from the posters?

If I went to the P&R forum, I would be the only one there.

So I can go there and start flaming myself?

Hmmm . . . there's something wrong. I tried to upload my picture for my sig, and
it said it uploaded successfully, but it doesn't seem to show up. I must be doing
    something wrong . . .

Deleting threads? Yes. My personal choice would be that individuals cannot delete a whole thread, but a mod can if it is necessary.

I have only done it the old way, where you use the img tags.

Did you switch over to the old img tag way? I have to play around with the upload later to see how it works, or look at the documentation.

I am going to see if I can fix the color on this quick reply and the new post screens.
