Default Fallout 3 or COD 5?

I have to choose between Fallout and COD 5, which one do I get?
I'd buy that for a dollar

Never played a Fallout. Im partial to COD right now, but think I liked COD 4 better than 5.

I'm not a big role playing guy so I'd go with COD5.

It depends. You like lots of multiplayer? COD5. You want a good single player experience? Fallout 3.

CoD is a FPS. Fallout as an RPG. Whichever genre you like better.

However, Fallout is kind of a shooter RPG, and I've heard some diehard FPS guys have liked it quite a bit. Just something to consider.

I had to make this choice a few day's ago and decided to go with COD-WaW. After I played it live a few times I knew I had made the right choice!

    Go with COD5, it's great!

Fallout 3 = post-apocalyptic RPG. Play the douche who sees childrens bones in cages and thinks, "I could best that." Or the wasteland angel who cries out for the deformed ghouls.

CoD 5 = WWII. Again. Destroy Nazi Germany/Rising Sun. However, it has multiplayer whereas Fallout 3 does not.

IMO, if you have COD4, then five is unnecessary unless you really have a historic itch that needs scratching. Fallout 3 is a fantastic game and pretty different as far as themes go.

I disagree with the CoD4 - CoD5. 5 I think had a better campaign. It was longer, had more intriguing characters and a few new features, and the online is cream of the srop. The Zombie Nazis mode is great fun. Weapons are similar unless you like the simulated fiberoptic scopes.

F3 is an RPG. There are many other better RPGs to play especially on 360.

Just my opinion of course. I didn't like F3 one bit. I think because I play so many shooters.

There are plenty to play right now, that are a lot better.

It's really a genre preference I think. F3 the RPG vs. ______ the shooter (Gears 2, Far Cry 2 or Cod.)

Really? The only good one I played was Blue Dragon. I have tried a few new ones like Last Remnant and those sucked as well. The only two great RPGs are FO3 and Mass Effect.

Like you said, its a genre preference and I tend to prefer RPGs. I still play Oblivion!

If you like traditional RPGs like Final Fantasy, Lost Odyssey is a gorgeous 40-50 hour epic NOT to be missed.

There are a couple of others escaping me at this point. I played so many 360 games especially shooters I can't remember each one. I'll get back to you.

LO was created by Mistwalker Studios (backed by MS) and is a publisher that is ran by the 'father' of Final Fantasy.

Some of the reviews may be kind of negative because the game is so traditional and brings "nothing new and could be considered a step backwards."

    I think that is bull?!@#.

Combat is the same as most traditional RPGs, like FF7-10 and Shadow Hearts' (another underrated RPG series from PS2.)

The graphics are stunning and the game is huge (4 discs) and you will be busy for like 40+ hours. I highly recommend it for people willing to put the time into good RPGs.

Any fan of FF would like this game. You won't be disappointed. Less than $40 at Gamestop.
