I'm a huge Maualuga fan. I guess it's once again time to start seeing the "let's draft a rb in the 1st round" threads, but there are a few defensive guys that could make a huge difference to this team. Maualuga, Mays, and Lauranitis, may all be there at our pick. I'd be happy with any of the 3, and in that order.

Something about Lauranitis scares me. I'm not sure what it is. I think it's visions of Andy Katzenmoyer.

I need to study more up on all of them especially Mays, but Mauluga is phenomenal, quick to the ball explosive and seems like a decent person

And he hits like a D-Day assault.

Which is what we need. Our linebackers now, aside from DJ, ***** foot around then celebrate like they just broke someone's leg when they make a basic tackle...

Did you see where D.J. ran into a Charger as a play was winding down and
kind of bounced off in an "excuse me" move? Maualuga would have destroyed
    the guy.

It seems to me that D.J. was a whole lot meaner when Al Wilson was here.
Maybe Maualuga would give us more than just Maualuga? -- If you know what

i love that dude. i just thought he would be a top 10 pick. hits like a tons of bricks thats for sure. he reminds me of a better al wilson. although i really would love to see jl here too. cant go wrong either way. we could trade down and still land one.

rey maualuga reminds me of al wilson and james lauraniatis reminds me of bill romanowski.
