One of my favorite movies and books of all times. I liked the books ending better as well. I also thought the remake was pretty good.

i liked the shining alot, but I never read the book. Just saw the movie.

In the book Jack catches up to the boy and the Mother in the maze and he yells "boogity-boogity-boo" then he tousels the boys hair and tweeks the woman's nose. They call Jack a "silly goose" and they all have a good laugh.

Wow...that is the movie in a new light for sure. I love that movie and this video from the cuts and music had me laughing for sure.
