30 catches in 11 games shouldn't be that difficult for any half way decent receiver.

If Bradford is healthy enough to throw him the ball Lloyd will get 30 catches maybe more.

less than 3 catches a game. He will hit those numbers.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

    lol
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Yeah we didnt win this trade. Even the Llyod pessimist should agree with that.

EFX panicked and traded him a little early. If they would have waited till the deadline they could have got more.

Just makes me wonder though. With the way comp picks work. You get them if you lose more players then you sign before the draft. So EFX might be gearing up to bring in a lot of FAs next offseason depending on how this one turns out. If we would have kept him and let him walk in the offeason we might not have got anything. Dont know until the offseason....

I can see us finally spending money in 2012.

i wanted us to trade him (business, nothing personal) and am satisfied that we did-- even for low compensation-- but i'd categorize it more as "something that needed to be done" than a win. . . more like a resolution to a no-win situation, IMO. . .

and while i'm not really feelin' the confidence, i'm at least hopeful that we'll shell out for a bit more talent in FA next year. . . at any rate, i think you want to keep the option open, at the absolute least-- not paint yourself in a corner where you CAN'T bring in any decent FAs without sacrificing a draft pick. . .

like i told buff, the best of all worlds scenario with the comp pick was only a pick at the end of the third, after all 32 regular picks. . . the top-five fifth we're probably going to get from STL will only be forty spots or less lower, and we've got it now. . . and we move forward with young guys getting the reps-- preferrably matt willis and eron riley, if they don't intend to re-sign royal. . . let the only QB who's under contract past February get as many live reps as possible with the WRs and TEs that will also be here past february. . .

we aren't winning shit this year even if we play all the vets. . . may as well get as many rookie mistakes out of the way now as we possibly can, to shorten the process for the following years. . .

anyway, forget that crap-- this is about lloyd making sure we get our pick. . . i hope McChuckIt goes deep every play this week. . .

It should be really easy for him to get at least 30 because, as he likes to remind everybody, you can't cover what you can't see.

It's hard to say if it would have netted them anything more by waiting.
