    Talking How 'Bout Dem Cowboys!

Control of their own destiny and what happens:

    44-3 Eagles, with 5:00 in the 3rd.

First they gave up two long ass runs for TDs in the closing moments of Texas Stadium.

And now not 1, but 2 fumble returns for TDs. One for 73 yards, the other for 96 yards a mere three minutes later.

    Getcha popcorn ready.

Nice win by the Silver and Black today.

I'm not making fun of anyone blowing their division today unless Denver takes care of their own business tonight!

Yea, as Dallas was blowing it against Baltimore, with those long runs. I was telling my wife that my cousin was probably going nuts (I live in Jerry Jones' Cowoby country). She said, "you should call him and rub it in" and I said no way, I didn't want to get the return phone call if the Broncos blew it.

Considering we are one game away from an epic, Met's style, season ending implosion, I guess your right about not talkng trash about other teams imploding.

Thanks Tned, good luck tonight. Yeah I wanted that win in Tampa more than air. All I need now is for the Jets to lose so that sports talk radio tomorrow will equal the fits in Dallas.

Best part about that is, that at least Dallas' loss will dominate the coverage. If we lose (as I expect) it won't be the only story of the night.

OMG no they did NOT just kick a field goal down by 41! Oh yes they did:

44-6. Strictly for the almanacs. And yes, it will dominate headlines.

Yea, I was a little surprised by that, but I guess since there is no shot of a come back, they kicked.

Miami, an inch away from a division win. Going for it on 4th down.

The difference tween us and the Cowboys is that we aren't ready for a playoff run and they supposedly were. This is as total a meltdown as I've ever watched - and more proof to me that "measurables" don't matter a jot if a team has no character. I hate the Cowboys anyway but I especially hate them all the more for signing turds like TO, Tank Johnson, and Pacman Jones. Hopefully this will give more organizations pause in the future before loading their rosters with the toxic rubbish that this team is drowning in.

The Williams trade might payoff in the future, but right now it isn't looking so hot. They gave up a bunch, and if I remember signed him to a big extension. It's another "on paper" move that makes tons of sense, when they already have TO and Whitten, but in practice it didn't seem to help them at all.
