Thread: Post Holiday Activities

What do you do between now and New Years Day?

I wasn't supposed to drink because I am taking medicine, but it's the holidays. I just woke up from an 18 hour slumber. I feel like a bear who just woke up from months of hibernation.

Relax and play, do a little work around the house and then relax and play some more.

I get to spend the next few days reorganizing my house, and finding places for all the kids' stuff.

I am not doing anything extravegant (sp) until after the first of the year. I always clean things up and put away the decorations right after Christmas, but not this year. We are going to enjoy every last twinkle of the lights and sparkle of the icicles. It will be family night in our house, every night for awhile. We are having a blast playing games, singing, making up crazy stories and planning a New Year's Eve/New Year's Day family party / get-together.
New Year' Eve we have a big bonfire and send off messages tied to balloons to all the special people we have lost over the years and aren't able to spend the holidays with us.
It's truly something to look forward to every year.

For all you PETA members....I'm gonna go out and kill a bunch of rabbits. Then I'm gonna EAT them!

Work, then sleep. And when I'm through sleeping, work some more . . .

I have a horrible headache and I'm sending all screaming children to their rooms until said screaming stops. Soon I'm sending myself back to bed again.

If there's snow where you are, good luck with that.

I have all the Xmas decor put away except the tree which is real so I will leave it up for a couple of more days,take the ornaments off and then haul the tree away.My kitchen/dining room is back in order but the front room is waiting for me to put all the usual stuff back.

I like to take Xmas stuff down and put away ASAP.

My kiddo is going to her dad's soon and Irish came home for Christmas, so it looks like the two of us will be out on the town. Take my mind off the fact my daughter isn't where she should be.
