Thread: Jagsbch's Tim Tebow Appreciation Thread

I just joined yesterday and I have been a Broncos fan all my life. I have to say that I expected more from loyal and dedicated fans! I for one could'nt stand Orton anymore and I thought in the off season when Miami would'nt pay a 3rd round pick for him spoke volumes around the NFL as to how other teams felt about him and his play. I welcome Tebow with open arms and hope the Broncos give him this season and next to develope! We will not get Luck or Landry they both could possibly be gone as pick#1 and pick#2. We need to focus on our defense again in this draft DT for starters a CB to replace Champ in a few years etc... We all get this and need to accept this is not the year we get a QB especially with such a raw talent sitting on our bench. Hes a gamer all the way, as demonstrated in the Miami game and I believe he will get better and better as the season wears on. I personally look forward the Suh matchup with Tebow this weekend as Suh flies by Tebow and hes busts it up the gut for 5-10yds a pop. I hope McCoy does a far better job of gameplanning this week because over the last 2 weeks Detroit has been shown to be one trick pony and can be exploited by what Denver does best Run the Rock. It will be ugly on Sunday but The Broncos pull it of 27-21 with the 12th man in full effect and Champ shutsdown Decepticon all day. Go Broncos and Go Tebow

Where does anyone say they don't support Tebow? No one is downing Tebow. Most like him, some more than others, others question whether he will be a good NFL qb. I haven't seen a single person say that they hope he does poorly or any such thing.

Here's the thing...people here are loyal and dedicated...to the BRONCOS.

Theres even a thread that declares he would rather see Tebow and the team fail then listen to the "Tebow stuff anymore" proclaiming this hurts the team more then help. Laughable for a "true" Broncos fan but for the most part this site yields some fine Broncos fans. I like the kid alot and would take him over most starting qbs in the league for his character and work ethic. I have seen nothing but positives for the team and the fans and in time the craziness will die off and we can actually analyze what we have but in his first true start he gets a spot in the NFL's history books thats pretty impressive to me and I want to see more. I support the team as a whole and cant wait to see this young talented team meld into a unit on the field.

Tim Tebow Versus Matthew Stafford~!! 7 Hours to go, A win here puts the Broncos back into the play-off hunt. A win really has to get fans thinking where this team would have been had Tebow started the season. 6-1or 5-2 in control of our destiny rather than 3-4 looking to regain control in the next 4 games. Its as if starting Orton gave Tim Tebow a handicapp in regards to competeing with the rest of the teams in the league. Imagine that Elway and Fox handicapping this team with their short bus decision making skills. How special.

    Go Tebow~!!

You say that like it's a bad thing. Plus, she's a decorated mod. It would be foolish of me to put her on the stand. also, is the op a newcomer? Oh, wait, nevermind. I thought the top of this page was page 1 for a minute

Watching the Elway interview on ESPN it was as if someone died, he could not be any more depressed about his QB situation. I am so disgusted with Elway...

He's probably not thrilled it took an amazing onside kick recovery and a late strip of the opposing QB and a couple of circus catches to get a win in overtime against the worst team in the league.
He no doubt realizes all the teams troubles are not magically fixed by 3 minutes of good football

I wish Elway would say something like "Tebow is a work in progress, but so was I when i threw over 50 interceptions in my first 3 years. Shoot I once lined up behind our guard and tried to take a snap. Being an NFL QB is the toughest position on the field and we look forward to Tebow growing into the position and leading us to many wins"

How is Tebow to blame whne FoX only allowed him to record 5 passing attempts in the first half, especially when in the end the passing game was actually what led to the victory, not the rushing, or special teams.

Elway is a closet Tebow hater. Tebow has played in 4 1/2 games. The attention span of NFL fans is laughable. Elway is the GM, his on the fence antics regarding Tebow is not the PR approach you take with the media as a profesional. Guy is classless when it comes to his half full approach to Tebow. Playing the Raw and uncertain card is not how you instill confidence or prove leadership? Elway is a chump, he is the ass who got the fan base polarized away from Tebow and back to Orton with his disperaging take of Tebow as a QB. The fans like sheep followed Elway into the oblivious start, then he goes and trades the best receiver on the team for a 6th round pick right before Tebow starts?

Elway is a complete and utter disaster as a GM thus far.

watched the first 3 games tebow started last year and the analysts must be on crack
Tebow did really well throwing the ball. put the ball right on the money a lot of times (victim of several dropped balls even on TD throws) the announcers are even all saying how well he's playing.

"tebow is really doing a great job throwing the football"....

Tebow totally has the ability to throw the ball down the field (Lloyd was on the receiving end of a lot so i'm not sure why he couldn't say anything nice about tebow after he was traded)

so sometime between then and now, everyone's decided to get on the bashing bandwagon.

It's kind of a mutual feeling we here have of you as a fellow "Bronco" fan.

Get a clue Jags. next your going to try and argue that Fox told Tebow to miss those open WR's he had in the game last week against Miami.

Was Tebow ever allowed to go through more than 1 progression at Florida?

I think Tebow could be good, and Urban Meyer has clearly failed him up to this point.

So - Tebow was only allowed 5 passing attempts in the first half - OF COURSE, the sacks were NOT passing plays, OF COURSE, the throw aways were not passing plays

You have confirmed what I have suspected all along - IF you even watch the game, you have one eye closed, and the other one has a patch on it.

Oh - and I hate to bust your bubble - BUT #7 COULD CARE LESS what you think of him.
