Thread: Brock Osweiler

I like this kid. He has size, a good arm and pretty good accuracy from what ive seen. Dont know if he is coming out next year but he reminds me a lot of a Big Ben type of player. Ive seen a couple of games from them this year and he has looked solid.

He is from Montana, pretty much the savior for our state haha dare I say... Ryan Leaf?

I agree, North. The only thing I want to see him do is take snaps from under center and handle his 3/5/7 step drops. He plays in a dink and dunk spread offense that doesn't really show everything that he can do, as a passer. He definitely falls under the "gamer" label that EFX(mostly Fox) is looking for in a QB.

There's 3 things that connect us to ASU and how Osweiler definitely becomes a possibility for us, if he comes out this year.

1. ASU's HC was offered our HC job after Wade Phillips was fired, but turned it down to take the Seahawks gig, instead.

2. Spent time as Jack Elway's OC at San Jose State.

3. Elway's son played college football for Erickson at ASU.


With the connection between Elway and Erickson, it would be easy for Elway to call Erickson up after the season and get the real run down on Osweiler.
