That's what we do with creative, open-minded folks. Let that be a lesson to you all.

Dead, Dead, Dead, someday you'll be dead
Dead, Dead, Dead, someday we'll all be dead.
The minute we're born, we start dying,
We die a little more every day..
Young or old, rich or poor,
There's nothing we can do to stop it..
So look long at that Christmas tree,
It may be the last one that you see..
Decorate your house in green and red,
    'cos someday you'll be dead..

Dead, Dead, Dead, someday you'll be dead
Dead, Dead, Dead, someday we'll all be dead.
It might happen in a couple months
    Or 50 years from now..
But no matter when it happens
It will seem too soon to you..
So be sure on Christmas eve
    When you snuggle into bed..
That you thank God for your family
    'cos someday they'll be dead..

Dead, Dead, Dead, someday you'll be dead
Dead, Dead, Dead, someday we'll all be dead.
    Who knows how many Christmas's
Are left in their short lives?
    Nobody knows, that my point!
    Enjoy them while you can.
    And so on Christmas morning
Let good tidings fill your head..
    What a festive season,
    Someday you'll be dead

Dead, Dead, Dead, someday you'll be dead
Dead, Dead, Dead, everyone you know, dead.
A very Merry Christmas to you!
    Dead, Dead, Dead..
    Merry Christmas Everybody!
I got mind control while I'm here
You goin' hate me when I'm gone
Ain't no blood clot and no fear
I got hope inside of my bones

Very tuneful. I think you should get a group together and go caroling singing that song.

Last night at the Oasis concert they did a tribute to him. It was pretty cool.

And another one's gone, and another one's gone, another one bites the dust!

I don't know if I could have handled watching John get old. I saw Lee Majors doing a hearing aid commercial this morning. He looked like Johnny Cash. I wanted to cry.

I like having John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison and even Freddy Mercury immortal. Rock star martyrs, if you will. They won't ever be Las Vegas fatties like Elvis.

Sad but true. No one voted for the "Fat Elvis" Stamp. BTW, you guys hear Bettie Page had a heart attack a few days ago? I though she was dead already. Weird.

It sometimes seems like the best way to gauge how clever a musicians is, is not by his music but by how early he died.

If anybody saw the video, it was completely scary how nice he treated that Chapman dude, only to get killed by him.

He even promised they wouldn't cost $6 million. It was really sad.

What made me feel really old was watching Cheryl Ladd doing commercials for menopause meds. She was my favorite back in the '70s.

(Betcha half the folks around here have no idea who she is either).
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.
