    Default Michael Huff?

    http://www.profootballweekly.com/PFW...west120608.htm

Raiders FS Michael Huff was benched earlier this season in favor of backup Hiram Eugene, and he remains firmly planted as the No. 2 on the depth chart, even though Eugene isn’t blowing observers away with his play. Sources in Oakland say the Raiders could revisit the option of trading Huff, the team’s first-round pick in 2006, or perhaps even consider cutting him in the offseason.

If this guy got cut would we consider bringing him in? I think he could be no worse than what we have.

Wouldn't mind. Would probably start over who we currently have.

I doubt he gets cut. Wasn't he the No. 8 pick overall in 2006...

The Raiders will give him another year, but then again, its the Raiders...

Shit, if the Raitards are dumb enough to cut him we should be smart enough to give him a chance. He and Barrett together could make for one hell of a safety combo. And, if he does get cut after his "subpar" play, regardless of his draft pick number, there is no way he can feasibly demand high money.

The fact of the matter is, the Raiders know that Denver needs S's, so I doubt that Davis would outright release a player that he knows could end up a Bronco.......

My guess is that if Huff is let loose, he'll wind up in Tennessee with a lot of his college teammates.

Wouldn't he want a chance to start? Hope and Griffin have the back end locked down at the momentfor the Titans. Not to sure about HUff, but all I know is I will be have my eyes peeled this bowl season on the upcoming S prospects.

My understanding is that if Huff is cut, Denver can pick him up before the Titans can, based on W-L records.

He's still on the Raiders roster.
