It is getting better there with prices. They were so sky high a few years ago, it is still not cheap but a person can make it work. Good for you, that is God's counrty there.
I have been trying to get a posting back west for years but the military keeps me in the east, hopefully i can get to the recruiting centre in Calgary next year.

Calgary? Isn't that like the Siberia of Canada, where they get 50' of snow a year or something like that?

lol, no that would be where I just spent a week... Yellowknife. no snow when I was there and it was about 70 degrees. Not hot but not cold either...
