This could all change and likely will based on what happens this year. But I was just thinking about he defensive tackle position and how this past year was supposed to be a great year for defensive tackles. In looking at it, I kind of see why. I've noticed that two names are consistently projected as 1st round defensive tackles: Crick and Worthy.
I don't think either of them are worth taking in the first round. And the reason I say that is that I don't see a big difference between them and the guys who are projected to go in the 2nd round.
So, bascially, I'm looking at value. I'm not denying that Crick or Worthy might be better at this point...just not so much better to make them worth taking in round 1. When Elway spoke of Von Miller, he talked of you Miller jumped off the screen. I don't really see a similar wow factor with Worthy or Crick relative to guys projected to go later.
Here are the guys I think should be looked at instead of Crick and Worthy:

2. Kawann Short

3. Kheeston Randall

Now, look at the following two clips and tell me why there's a big difference between Short and Worthy. The following videos show each player against the same team (Illinois).

Now look at Worthy against Wisconsin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ErZO...eature=related
Where is the major impact that you'd want from a first round pick? I'm not seeing first rounder from Worthy.
