Skill wise it's probably not up there, but sound wise the beginning of "The Sentinel" by Machinehead is pretty awesome. The guitar throughout that song is awesome. It reminds me of Van Halen.

Carlos Santana - "Revelations"
I spent years trying to learn to play the guitar with my fingers.
Santana shows how to play it with your heart . . .

Carlos was incredible live. Blew me away.
There are so many great guitarists out there, sadly, most of them stay unknown. I disdain pure shredders, so I tend to stay away from most guitar-solo genres (after having played in some progressive/hard rock and metal bands myself). However, I still admire the pre-2000 John Petrucci. Such great and delicate guitar work... my favourite has to be his Lines in the Sand solo. Such great tone, such great buildup, so much emotion in that one. Still makes me smile.

Ben Johnson - "S.R.V." (Actual name of the piece - as suspected a tribute to the G.O.A.T. of Blues guitarists.)

Fredrik Strand Halland - Little Wing
(Quite some cover for a 14-year-old.)

Tyrone Vaughan - "Steppin' Out"
Tyrone is Stevie Ray's nephew.
