    Default Favorite Guitar Solos

I'm kind of copying a poster from Mania, and he turned out a fantastic thread.
So if you have some favorite guitar solos, let us know. This is for the lover of
    guitars.

Let me start with Tommy Emanuel's "Initiation." Really off-beat and fantastic.
All the sound effects are from his guitar. This is almost nine minutes and worth
    every second.

“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

All Dream Theater solos are amazing too, check them out if you haven't heard them.
This is the song Constant Motion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44j6hvBx4fg

Guitar solo courtesy of Buckethead...starts around the 5:25 mark.

Also, Bernie Worrell from the Parliment Funkadelics plays keyboards on this CD.

Buckethead, Bernie Worrell and Les Claypool...ridiculous. This is a tremendous CD. I would recommend this to anyone. Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains---The Big Eyeball in the Sky

Fernando Miyata - Brazilian guitarist. I don't even know who that is. He looks
like MO but you've got to see this.

    Voodoo Chile...pretty good solo, too...

And yes, I do like Stevie Ray's better than Jimi's.

P.S. That's not the actual movie clip...I was just reminded of it by the "this is an oldie where I come from..."
