This is "Stream" by Tim Reynolds, who has played many times in two-man shows with Dave Matthews.

He segues in and out of Kazmir in this version.

Unfortunately, the DBs who took the video have to point out the obvious, because one of them is too hammered to quite realize what is going on...

I'll include this, not because the solo is so spectacular, or anything, because it really isn't, but if there isn't a song that fits its title...

Don't know if this qualifies, and if you don't like Jamiroquai, then don't watch the vid. But this is a guy playing his bass along with the album version of the song Space Cowboy, and I have always been impressed with his solos.

I got mind control while I'm here

Guitar Solo Contest. Kind of interesting.

Pretty good. It was different. I liked the part where the kid had to itch his nose. lol

Other than that, it was uncanny: the kid seemed a spittin' image of my boy when he was a teeny-bopper . . .

One of my favorites is Metallica's Fade to Black.

I also really like the Allman Brother's Blue Sky. I like some of the slower Floyd solos like Comfortably Numb too.

Literally everything everyone else has posted rocks too, great thread top.

I would also throw in Pat Metheny when I'm in a jazzier mood, but I haven't gone there in a while.

I've always really liked this guy Edgar Cruz out of Oklahoma, too. I've got all his albums. He's a fly under the radar acoustic guitarista. Anyway, one of my favorite guitar solos is his rendition of "ghost riders in the sky" which you can find here beginning at 8:00. His studio version is slightly better; he pops an open harmonic G after the final arpeggio that makes me shiver it's that good.

I like how he kicks it on steel string.

Dude, he was just playing in my town yesterday night. He's from here, and plays here all the time. He's awesome. How funny for you to post him here. Great guitarist.

Ok, I'm gonna raise the "cheese" factor here - so sue me, I like these solos.

George Lynch - "Tierra del Fuego" (Not really a solo, but an instrumental)

Eddie Van Halen - "Beat it". One of the best rock guitar solos ever.

Van Halen - "Drop Dead Legs"

David Gilmore/Pink Floyd - "On the Turning Away"
“If there are no animals in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went.” - Will Rogers (paraphrased)

A couple off the top of my head...

November Rain – Guns N’ Roses

    Comfortably Numb – Pink Floyd

    Soma – Smashing Pumpkins
