I'm still a bit upset we passed on Dareus...but that last game made me feel a LOT better. Pre-season or not.

I like Miller's motor and will be an asset to the team especially with Doom on the other side. We'll talk about 'real deal' when the BRONCOS start playing stronger teams.

Run defense and defending the screens when blitzing is going to definitely need fixin.

After the ghastly Cutler trade (although even if he hadn't been traded I wonder if the team would have paid him now), loss of Hillis, Marshall, the insane Smith debacle, and so on and so on, I feel like being a Broncos fan has been excruciating the last few years.

While again I was deeply unhappy with the draft and prospect of another ******* year of Orton, I feel Miller looks to be the one LEGITIMATE true positive for the future.

We still should have taken a DT over Franklin, but at least the team has the slightest glimmer of hope their number one pick will actually work out.

Franklin is a stud. He's got some work to do on pass blocking, but that's normal for any rookie Olineman. He's already a beast in the run game. With him and Kuper on the right side together, we finally have a way to pound the rock on short yardage and red zone plays.

IDK man, Franklin looks like a road-grading beast so far. He's going to make a huge difference IMO. If we didn't sign Franklin and Harris still left, we'd be IAWOS right now on the line. Even as it is we're pretty dang thin.

Agreed. I love the way Miller plays. Two bad we still don't have Mike Nolan's scheme on defense, we'd be absolutely deadly with Miller/Dumervil off the edges.

I thought denver would take a offensive tackle all along I just didn't expect them to pass on the defensive tackle.

I'm glad to have seen Miller show flashes vs Buffalo this week. He's a legitimate pass rush machine, no doubt.

The other guy I've been really impressed with thus far (and I've been paying attention to DL the most of any unit) has been Bunkley. That dude is exactly the DT we've needed for years. He's not much of a pass rusher, but he's damned near immovable out there and constantly draws and fights off double teams. He's our best DT by far and has played extremely well in the first two games.

100% agree...Bunkley played hurt last year and it showed..Healthy Bunkley is a stud NT. Will do exactly what we want draw double teams let LBs run free.

Before Oakland figures out what hit them, the game will be over and we will have kicked their ass. 1-0 start.

VonDoom will be a household word.

VonDoom sounds like a Norwegian Horror Metal band.
