Seriously, if this guy does his job well, he can make a lot of other people look a lot better. He might be more important than McCoy and even as important as Allen.

When Alex Gibbs was in Denver, you could argue he was the most important guy on the staff, depending on how much credit you gave to Gibbs vs. Shanny in terms of the success with the ZBS.

Gibbs was very important for sure. But there is no argument that Shanny was by far the most important member of the staff.

Here is Gibbs NFL resume which includes his first stint with the Broncos:

    Denver Broncos (OL)1984-1987
    Los Angeles Raiders (OL)1988-1989
    San Diego Chargers (OL)1990-1991
    Indianapolis Colts (OL)1992
    Kansas City Chiefs (OL)1993-1994
    Denver Broncos (Asst. HC/OL)1995-2003
    Atlanta Falcons (Asst. HC/OL)2004
    Atlanta Falcons (Consultant)2005-2006
    Houston Texans (Asst. HC/O)2008-2009
    Seattle Seahawks (Asst. HC/OL)2010

The only SB wins were under Shanny with the Broncos.

You gotta nod when you read the opening post.

The Carolina Panthers Oline are no names pretty much. Gross was drafted fairly high, and is the most well known.

But I did indeed like what I saw when we lined up about 6 runs in a row against the Dallas starters and moved the ball.

NOTHING would help Denver more than being able to run the ball and not be stopped.

It demoralizes opposing Ds, and makes them play bad pass defense.

It keeps our D fresh and frisky, and if we end our drives with scores, our new pass rush and secondary is primed to take the ball away.

IF WE RUN THE BALL IN DOMINANT FASHION.....this will be a wholly different season than last year.

    Just sayin
    IN PATON I TRUST.

Oh, and Willis will be getting just as many carries as Knowshon by the time the second or third game of the season comes, if not taking over the starting spot and having more.

    Thats my predicamention we're in.
