Thread: The Music Exchange

By posting in this thread, you promise to listen to at least 25% of any song posted here by the way of a Youtube link. Feel free to leave honest comments about the song. Just be respectful of what you are posting here. I expect some good judgement as to what will be posted on here.

I am hoping that this will broaden peoples musical tastes. If there is a part of the song that you feel really needs to be heard, leave a time stamp so that if someone only listens to the first minute, and decides they hate it, they can at least experience what it is you really like about a song.

I love life insurance as a product. . .it is really cool what you can do with it if you have some imagination. One of the most under-rated financial planning tools out there.

That being said, selling it sucks. People act like you've got bubonic plague the moment you say life insurance. Heck, you probably killed this thread just mentioning it.

The good side is, that if you tire of speaking with someone, just a quick question about their life insurance program and :poof: they disappear.

Ok, mine is actually going to consist of two vids but the main contributor is Devin Townsend considering he has two different sides to his musical style. The first is his solo stuff which has more of a blues/classic rock vibe. The second is/was his thrash band Strapping Young Lad. There's not much to the first video as it is not a legit vid but its all about the song anyway. As for the other video, those who love the Evil Dead movies will get a kick out of it.

Nope. . .my attempt to access that site has been logged in the access records.

I guess I'll post something to get started. Not everyone will like it, but I enjoy the guitar and think it's a fun song, and I enjoy Bloc Party's first two albums.

So here is 'Banquet' by Bloc Party. You can get the feel of the song in 60-90 seconds, so if you don't like, you can stop listening rather quick.

Jam bands aren't my favorite thing in the world, but I can definitely respect it and it's good 'chillin' music. I'll check out more stuff, thanks!

Not bad, gives me a Dave Matthews/Doors type vibe. I could sit down and listen to this stuff.
