Default Tank Johnson released by Bengals

If Ty Warren is out with a serious injury, could Tank be a replacement?

It's a sad day in Bronco Village when we hope to get Albert Haynesworth and Tank Johnson.

Both had taken at one time and I suspect that Fox is not the type to take any crap.
Sign them to incentive based contracts and pay them accordingly.

Tank Johnson is terrible. I watched that guy get destroyed snap after snap. He was a starter at one point and then was worked into a rotational guy and couldn't even stay on the field doing that.

Only guy worth a risk would be Haynesworth. He is a dominating force on the DL and that's really what we need. I somehow get the feeling he wouldn't want to come here though, which would make me dislike him even more. Besides, no way the Pats cut him. Only way would be for someone to trade for him and they would want something close to what they gave.

I don't see Tank being better than Bunkley, Vickerson or Thomas at this stage of his career.

His better days are past him but with Warren and Thomas both hurt I wouldn't be surprised to see Denver sign him.

I think they will scour the waiver wires later as we get closer to the season..
If we pick up this clown on waivers we also get his contract that is outstanding..

He is a four+ year vet so he is an unrestricted free agent. Released four year+ players are only put on waivers after the trade deadline, otherwise they are free to sign with any team.
