When Home Alone came out we took our older two to see it. I guess I like 'slap stick' comedy more than I thought cause I laughed until I cried when paint cans came flying! (could be the 'mean' side I didn't know I had)

Office Space is the clear winner IMO.

I saw Step Brothers this past summer and it was funny as hell. It goes on my list for sure.

Lots of great movies listed - one of my favorites is A Fish Called Wanda.

    The Blues Brothers

How many of the other movies are readily known 30 years after they came out. Spawned a syndicated radio show, a restaurant chain, and several albums. As well as starting the whole retro movement and all those classic rock radio stations.

    FTW

For me, Vacation and Caddyshack. I think those are two of the most quotable movies of all time. Tommyboy was pretty hilarious too.

Just have to say it again, if you haven't seen The Brothers Solomon you need to do so. After I posted this I decided to watch the movie again because I remembered it being hilarious, and yes my memory was correct. I laughed the whole way through.

but i'd have to say that office space is the G.O.A.T
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

I once thought that Rockstar with mark wahlberg was funny but then I watched it while I wasn't completely baked and it wasn't funny at all.
Thats my all time favorite. Before that it was Tommy Boy.

I would like to add this movie even though it isn't out yet. I'd post the other trailers but they are pretty NSFW:
