It literally makes my wife SO pissed. I put nearly everything in a tortilla when we have leftovers. Spaghetti, Lasagna, whatever!

I’m usually a routine eater. Stuffed bell peppers was a nice change tonight. Cajun seasoning of course.

Tonight we're having neighbors over for Raclette which is table top grilling. I will see if I can get some pictures. We will be having tenderloins sliced thin with mushrooms potatoes and broccolini, all of which gets covered with cheese and placed under the broiler on the grill.

Because this is sort of a cooking thread...

I used to hate making rice because I could never get it to turn out the same way twice... Hey, that rhymes.
Anyway, I was watching Jamie Oliver and he's got a foolproof way to cook it.
    So I stole it...

    1. Put 1 cup of rice in a pot.
    2. Boil a kettle of water and shut off the burner.
    3. Pour 1 and a half cups of the boiling water into the rice and stir it up a bit.
    4. Put the lid on the pot and put the pot on the burner you just shut off... and leave it shut off because the residual heat will do the job.
    5. Let it sit for 20 minutes and give it a quick stir.
    6. Let it sit for another 20 minutes and you are good to go.

    Perfect rice every time.

Being from South Louisiana, I eat rice with most of my meals. I order Cajun Country rice mainly to support the local farmers down there.

This is my favorite Christmas recipe. It was my Maw Maw’s. It’s awesome. Key is Cajun seasoning.

I did make a mistake when I first tried to make it. I didn’t bake the cornbread first. I tried baking it with the all ingredients mixed together. It wasn’t the best, but I still ate it ( I was the only one LoL). I wasn’t wasting all that crab.

I bought myself a crockpot in November and I finally started using it. Life-changing. Amazing. What have I been doing my whole life?

I ordered a pizza. I had a few slices. I woke up. One slice was missing and my dog is gassy.

Good restraint to only take one slice though?

Leftover posole. I made a big batch and froze half of it. By big batch, I mean I used a whole one of those industrial-sized 110 oz cans of hominy.
