Him and my nephew for sure - but the good thing is he (the nephew) has basketball practice tonight so they wont be there until after we order and most of the food has been eaten - so they will be delegated to "leftovers" or a medium pie to themselves if there isnt enough left - I have learned to put a limit on their food because they dont know how to when someone else is buying for them - I love them to death and all but its a tad annoying

I made a home made chicken pot pie and Dave would be proud that I made my own pie crust.
I'm beginning my evening with an Amish cheddar pimento cheese dip with a bacon marmalade.
For my entree I am going with the wood-oven roasted half chicken, truffle bread pudding and marsala sauce with crispy brussel sprouts w/ honey & chili.
My daughter didn't know I bought potatoes before she started the pot roast so I made garlic Parmesan mashed taters and I must say I did a pretty damn good job. I need to find a better way to make gravy. I realize now my moms way isn't the best. It's bland which is why I probably loved it growing up. But now with my super refined palate I need a new recipe
EDIT: and yes WTE, I beat the hell out of the taters with an electric mixer - so there
