Saturday night we made brazilian pork loin lettuce wraps. I'll link to the recipe when Cooking Light has it available.

*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

had the day off today, so I did my brined and roasted breat of turkey and made a nice beek stew for lunch. I bought an organic beef chuck roast, quick sautee with onions, then braised for 1 hour in stock. added large dice red potatos,in the last 20 minutes.
and then, roasted seperatly, carrots, celery and mushrooms, that I added to the beef for ten minutes.

I grilled steaks and chicken breasts, and had some baked beans and sweet corn. The steaks were some of the best I've ever cooked

did you buy a different steak?
did you use a different seasoning
did you alter the way you cooked them
were they grilled alongside the chicken
why do you think these steaks were so FN amazin compared to your last endeavors
dont you want to duplicate the enjoyment next time?
of course you do ! so you have to ask the question WHY, why were these so much better?

melt in your mouht... more marbling.
or perhaps there was a rest period during the cooking process that allowed the juices to redistribute and the muscle tissue to relax.
This could esily be the answer i you pulled them off the grill to finish the chicken and then put them back on to heat up.
I know you normally do a skin off chicken, so its not likely the breast effected the flavor
