Wife made meatballs out of black beans and quinoa. Meatballs is a stretch because they were meatless but they weren’t bad.

Black beans can do yeoman's work in the meat wannabe role. And quinoa for texture kinda sounds neat. You like 'em?

PS I'm roasting some asparagus tonight.

They were okay. We try to rotate eating meat or vegetarian dinners. Like someone else posted here, I forget who, my wife micromanages my diet and I go along with it.

According to the Food Network app you could roast that rutabaga too.

Marinated some chicken breasts in the Grillmates Mojito Lime marinade and baked it because I was too lazy to get out the grill. Made a Rice-a-Romo cilantro and lime rice to go with it.

    Very good. Very easy.

I'm having a beer soup with a side of crunchy jalapeno chips.
