i understand the rationale behind the playcall. . . i really question the execution, though. . . you have set the bar super low for your expectations of a condiment. . . they're intended to add flavor to a sammich, not just moisture. . . things that would be better than margarine include mustard, guacamole, pesto, ranch dressing, herbed cream cheese, sauerkraut, green chili, cranberry sauce, mole sauce, vinaigrette, and hot sauce-- just off the top of my head. . .

back around '03-'04, one of my friends was working for a software company owned by the guy who started krispy kreme. . . it was a business that he started for his son, who went to high school with my buddy. . . for a while there, he was driving up every thursday night from the springs, picking us up in denver, then driving up to boulder for a weekly bar night by a local DJ that we liked. . . dude was a little crazy, but he always picked up the tab, so i wasn't complaining. . .

I prefer the old fashioned cake donuts, aka buttermilk cake, aka sour cream donuts that Krispy Kreme doesn’t make.

Negative. They make both, in fact their sour cream donut and their old fashioned chocolate donuts are amazing.

I honestly thought they were only on Utah and Denver because our company has the service agreement for those locations

Interesting. I’ve only ever seen their regular glazed ones. I’ll have to check them out. We’ve got a local place in New Orleans with ~10 locations called Tastee donuts,we love them so we typically go there.

I don’t remember. And this blended red and comedy special isn’t conducive to memory.

Krispy Kreme used to be really good, but I don't like them anymore. Although a few years ago I went to an actual KK bakery and got a fresh donut from there. It was mind blowing.

The best donut place on the planet is Holey Rollers in OKC.

Plus they're vegan, so you can drag Dave along.
