That "cyclone bomb" is really negatively affecting PAGs' life...

I made a cheesy chicken enchilada pasta tonight, no recipe. Fingers crossed.

Basically, it's an enchilada sauce base but a baked pasta. Turned out tasty.

My local grocery store has started making meal kits, like a blue apron thing. Tried their chicken fajitas kit last night. It was outstanding. Might have to do that a couple times a week. Fresh food, packaged with everything you need, healthy, and most of the kits they have right now are within my dietary guidelines. Plus the portion is made specifically for two people, I'm sold for 15$.

Had a ribeye last night and mashed potato casserole that had bacon and cheedar cheese and sautéed broccoli.

    It was glorious.

Last time I had red meat was my birthday, 29 Jan, I think it's about time I had a nice steak or a burger.

I had tacos al pastor for my February treat.

Now I have to wait until April. I'm thinking maybe baby back ribs.

You sure do enjoy it when it isn't an every day thing Davii?

Absolutely, I enjoy red meat a lot more now that I rarely have it. I even plan it out, and will wave it off if it isn't worth it. For instance, my wife and I went to a crawfish boil on Sunday and I was offered a steak since I don't eat (much) crawfish. I just wasn't really interested in a steak that wasn't a damn good cut of meat and wasn't prepared the way I like it. If I have to ration something I'm going to do it right. If I could only have a beer once a month I damn sure wouldn't have an MGD or Coors.

Making some carne asada street tacos tonight. I've got the steak home marinating now. Using the instant pot so the meat should be super tender.
