Sorry, wife will not eat seafood unless it's clams.

tomato based, yes. Her meatloaf is delicious, actually. On a side note, I had never had meatloaf in my life until I met my wife. Growing up my mom never made stuff like meatloaf or sloppy joes and that kind of stuff. French-Italian mom and English dad... it was either meat and potatoes or Italian.

    Whoah. That's quite a bombshell.

Who limits their seafood intake to clams? I mean, clams as the penultimate seafood item? Nothing else passes the bar?

That's completely at odds with my perception of you two as foodies.

We had turkey chili the other night. I always put a bit of grated cheddar cheese, a dallop of sour cream and crushed up saltine crackers as garnishes in my chili.

i was going to start a thread on in but didn't see it s thread worthy so I pose the question in here.

What do all of you put as garnishes in your chili?

Sour cream and shredded cheeses are a standby for sure (usually do a bit of a mix of cheddar and jack).

My wife likes olives, when she deigns to eat the chili she makes.

I limit my seafood intake to none at all.
