I'm having some weird "enchilada tater tot casserole" thing...Not sure what I think of it. It's edible enough, but it's kinda a bit spicy.

So it was better as leftovers (presumably because the enchilada sauce had time to soak in to the tater tots)

We've got a restaurant here in Mid-City, Mandinas, that has been in the same location since 1932 and makes some very good Cajun/creole, and is also one of the best places in town for Italian dishes. The best part is just over a block away, over on Carrolton St just off Canal, is a place called Angelo Brocato's Italian ice cream and pastry that has been there since the early 1900s making fresh cannoli, gelato, or whatever other Italian dessert you desire, daily. It's one hell of a way to go, kill off some chicken parmesan and head over to Brocato's for either their fresh and amazing cannoli, maybe tiramisu, or some rum raisin gelato.

I think I just decided on my dinner plans for the evening...

I made a Boboli pizza last night. Green peppers, red peppers, onion, mushroom, black olives, sauce, Monterrey jack and cheddar.

that's the thing, I grew up in an Italian family so I can't eat it in a restaurant because it almost always tastes like shit. I guess that could be said for any ethnic food though.

Weazel doesn't sound Italian to me. Is it short for Weazelini?
